From the unique journey I have followed, I have been fortunate to meet many great people and learn much from them, and to meet many hard challenges, conquering each and learn much from them. Along that path I've had opportunities to learn, grow, and excel in a wide variety of areas surrounding electronic product development in oil & gas and in aerospace, particularly where the challenges included hazardous areas.
I am a problem-solving consultant who drives to results; a mentor, servant-leader who works to a high standard of integrity, with varying experience from circuit design to project management, with solid understanding of electrical safety (particularly haz/loc) & EMC standards, IPC standards, their applicability, and certification & compliance to them, and a familiarity with Mil standards, API standards, USCG and ABS standards.
Also a subject matter expert for cabling & cable assembly design, and for plastics & insulation materials.

Quirepace Ltd
Quirepace manufacture the BVC Range of Industrial Vacuum Cleaners. The BVC range includes machines designed specifically for recovering hazardous dusts.
Hazards from dusts and spilled product fall in to two distinct categories; the first is dusts that are hazardous to health. These machines are rated as M-Class or H-Class
The second category is dusts that are hazardous in the environment. The obvious category is dusts that can potentially cause an explosive atmosphere, particularly organic products like sugar and flour. Areas where this is a hazard are classified as ATEX, and BVC machines for use in these areas are ATEX rated.
Some products fall in to both categories such as wood dusts, which are both hazardous to health and potentially explosive. Suitable machines will be both ATEX and Class-H
Whatever the requirement Quirepace can recommend a BVC machine capable of meeting the specific requirements of the customer.
Filtermist Limited
Filtermist Limited provides local exhaust ventilation (LEV) systems which remove potentially hazardous airborne contaminants such as dust, fume, VOCs, oil mist and oil smoke from production environments including those which must comply with DSEAR.

Many dust collector applications involve handling or working in atmospheres that are potentially explosive, so equipment must comply with ATEX regulations. Dustcheck products can be configured to meet ATEX requirements. Visit www.dustcheck.com for more details.
