The Hydratight Academy announces a new e-Learning platform for personnel who are responsible for the integrity of bolted connections, on-site machining, and associated joint integrity management activities. The suite of online training courses is designed to deliver health, safety, quality and technical theory instruction in order to refresh knowledge in each subject area or facilitate pre-learning prior to attendance of practical hands-on training. Learner progress is evaluated at regular intervals throughout each course and a certificate of eLearning is issued upon successful completion of the end of course assessment.
“Now we have a blended learning approach, eLearning as well as instructor led training options” said Jason Barnard, Global Technical Competency Manager at Hydratight. “The Hydratight Academy eLearning platform will reduce the cost and travel associated with attending training centres, reach a wider audience who do not require practical hands-on training, and provide refresher training to help experienced workers update their knowledge.”
The Hydratight Academy eLearning platform provides learners with an online portal and accredited course options, the ability to learn from the convenience of their home or place of work, comprehensive modules, and navigation at their own pace.

- Introduction to Torque Tightening
- Introduction to Bolt Tensioning
- Introduction to Bolting Joint Integrity (Combo)
Additional accredited eLearning courses will also be available within the online course library to include ECITB Mechanical Joint Integrity and ASME PCC-1 Appendix A options.
