Oil vapour in compressed air – Safety via 24/7 process reliability

Even "oil-free" components and compressors are no guarantor for "oil-free" compressed air due to impurities in the ambient air / intake air.  In most cases, a certain residual oil content cannot be entirely avoided.

Therefore precise monitoring of the oil vapour content on a constant and reliable basis is important.  In particular in critical production processes such as those found in chemical and pharmaceutical industries, food production and surface engineering. The analysis and control of compressed-air quality is a crucial factor in avoiding costly lost production and product recall.  After intensive research BEKO Technologies presents a completely new residual oil vapour  monitoring unit for the within the scope of the METPOINT measurement technology programme: METPOINT OCV.  Analyses down to the range of a thousandth of a milligram per cubic meter (0.001 mg/m3, or better than class 1 ISO), network-compatible, with touch screen display and 24 / 7 process reliability through online measurement. MET-POINT enables oil vapour content to be reliably assessed every few seconds.
