For corrosion resistance and longevity in the field, the fittings are manufactured from marine grade aluminium and supplied with offshore grade paint. Lightweight, impact resistant polycarbonate versions are available or glass versions for use within specific chemical plant areas or paint shops. Alternative paint finishes are also available.

A key requirement of lighting within hazardous area is life time cost of the product and LED helps significantly in this as it reduces the amount of maintenance required. Furthermore the NEW DTS LED has been designed to utilize the removable gear tray already used in the florescent version allowing for existing products to be converted to LED by just changing the gear tray.

With the versatility of use within a range of Zones, the XFP LED range gives specifiers and end users the opportunity to standardise on one fitting throughout a hazardous site whether it is chemical, food processing, oil and gas or any other application. There is a choice of power outputs available with glass or polycarbonate diffusers. Power outputs and sizes can be selected to suit specific applications.
