The events have been specially designed for authorising engineers, authorised persons and competent persons in the healthcare, facilities and utilities sectors as well as the MoD.

They are also open to managers and other personnel responsible for training people to work in HV settings. (Read More)

The new events follow two successful pilot days earlier this month that attracted positive feedback. Delegates from companies including ESS Support Services, Integral UK, Severn Trent and WT Parker.
They are taking place at DTL’s Derby centre where the company recently opened a new HV training facility. The sessions include briefings on safe systems of work and the ways in which delegates can input into DTL’s course content.
Chris Wood, CEO, said: “We are keen to ensure we fully understand what people need from this kind of training, and to tailor our programmes so that they not only cover the subject matter but also provide the necessary training in the most effective and practical way possible.”

DTL’s new high voltage facility in Derby extends the reach of the company’s services for the electrical trade, which include full training, assessment and certification in 18th Edition electrical installations as well as low and high voltage commercial training for authorised persons, along with refresher training.
The state-of-the-art equipment in the new training room complements existing low and high voltage training facilities at DTL’s training centres nationwide.
